It was take your four year old to work today. Connor and I went to the new project I'm working on. It's an extension of an existing parking structure and a new Medical Office Building to be used for cancer treatment. We broke ground in early May and are into the mass excavation and grading. Connor had a ball climbing around all the equipment. He said he wants to drive the scraper when he grows up.

April 2010
After a hot shot to the pitcher, Marisa fields the ball and gets ready to throw the runner out at first! Marisa is on the Giants, her first year of T-Ball. Coach Paul is great, he has the kids throwing with perfect form and has really concentrated on letting the kids have fun while learning some aspects of the game.
Two weekends ago we had one of those perfect Sunday afternoons. Susan and I sat under the shade tree in the front yard with wine, cheese and crackers while the kids played in the sprinklers. Eventually they found the waterguns and had waterfights with the neighbors kids. Daddy's truck never did get washed....maybe next weekend.

The Relay
12 co-workers and I completed a 200 mile relay this past weekend. The Relay started in Calistoga, CA and finished in Davenport, CA (12 miles north of Santa Cruz). The race has been growing in popularity over the past few years. This year over 200 teams competed. We finished 28th overall and 4th in the corporate division. The relay took us 27 hours and 31 min to finish. I don't yet have the pictures, but will post some when I get a chance. You should be able to access the race from the link above.
