Two weekends ago we had one of those perfect Sunday afternoons. Susan and I sat under the shade tree in the front yard with wine, cheese and crackers while the kids played in the sprinklers. Eventually they found the waterguns and had waterfights with the neighbors kids. Daddy's truck never did get washed....maybe next weekend.

The Relay

12 co-workers and I completed a 200 mile relay this past weekend. The Relay started in Calistoga, CA and finished in Davenport, CA (12 miles north of Santa Cruz). The race has been growing in popularity over the past few years. This year over 200 teams competed. We finished 28th overall and 4th in the corporate division. The relay took us 27 hours and 31 min to finish. I don't yet have the pictures, but will post some when I get a chance. You should be able to access the race from the link above.

March 10 Update
March was a busy month for us. Marisa lost her first tooth. Tyler and Susan went to visit Aunt Karen, Uncle Paul and Ivan in Kansas (more pictures to come). Connor learned to ride his two wheel bike in only one day. Grandma and Grandpa Leary made a garden on the side yard for vegetables and sunflowers this summer. Can't believe April is upon us already.

February 2010 Wrap Up
My future southpaw pitcher! I'm trying to teach her good form from both sides of the plate and with both hands.
Connor amongst a pile of his favorite legos.
Marisa and I going to our first 'daddy/daughter' dance with her school. The theme was a hoedown. Thanks to my dad for coming up with the hats and bandana's. Marisa met some friends at the dance and left me in the corner. After 15 min or so she came back and asked me to dance with her. Classic moments that don't come around often enough.
Tyler (No picture shown) has expanded his vocabulary significantly. He can communicate with some sign language and 10-20 words now.
