April Videos

Here are a few videos from our recent trip to Cincinnati and one of our California Easter Egg hunt.

Tyler Baptism

We traveled to Cincinnati for Tyler's Baptism - here are some photos from the church and some other misc. pictures during our stay. I like the homemade rain jackets that Grandma Hellyer put together.

Cincinnati Trip

We had a great time in Cincinnati. The plane ride was actually bearable with the kids. We listened to music and watched movies. Tyler was fidgety, but we made it! Aunt Missy was kind enough to have us over for a BBQ here are some pictures of all the kids having fun.

Connor's Birthday

We invited some friends over for Connor's birthday and an Easter egg decorating party. Things got a little messy with both the eggs and the cake. We had great weather and the kids played outside most of the day. For some reason Connor requested a James cake - must be the first time Thomas wasn't the requested icon!

Sandpearl Resort

http://www.wtsp.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=103634&catid=8

This link will take to you a television report of the Sandpearl Resort - the project that I went to help complete in Florida two summers ago. It shows some great video of the property and some of the reason it was so hard to finish was the high level of finishes and project site that backed up to the beach.

TEA Parties

Here are a couple links regarding the TEA parties yesterday. I attended the one in Pleasanton, CA leaving work a bit early to get there in time for the last hour or so. Some of the more interesting signs there read:

“Paying My Mortgage, and Yours Too”
“Don't Tread on Me”
“Keep Your Bailout; I’ll Keep My Freedom”
“Obamanomics: Chains You Can Believe In”
“Born Free, Taxed to Death”
“If You Think Health Care is Expensive Now, Wait Until it's Free”
“Obamanomics – Trickle up poverty”
“Stimulate business, not government”
“DOW 6000 – Thanks for the change”
“Honk if I’m paying your mortgage”
"Yes, I'm a radical I believe in the Constitution"

The rally was extremely well organized with a good turnout.
