Marisa plays on a softball team called the Lightning Bolts. At each game while Marisa plays the boys chase each other on their scooters. The girls switch positions all over the field. Marisa's favorite positions are first base, pitcher and catcher because those are the ones that get the most action. As a lefty she is a natural first baseman.
Connor's 5th birthday was at Danville Bowl. We had a lot of his friends come and bowl then eat some pizza and cake. Connor and his friends knocked over tons of pins and ate their fill.
Connor's 5th Birthday is today. He woke up with five large balloons in his room and was so excited. He got to have his favorite dinner, PIZZA that evening when Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Colin came over. Uncle Colin provided the nice gift of pirate swords. Below Marisa and Connor show us their pirate faces....aaarrggghh. Tyler can swing the bat both left and right just like Marisa. Earlier in the week Marisa had a friend over from school, Zoey. 
Marisa had her first sleepover Saturday with her friend from school, Natalia. They had a great time making pizza, watching a movie, painting shirts and reading books. Tyler loves to hid from me then peek out from behind furniture. Here he is saying coo coo like a clock! We went to the Dublin St. Patrick's Day parade last Saturday. The weather was great that day, a change of pace from all the rain we've been getting. Yesterday I took Connor to the Chabot Space and Science Museum. Here he is practicing to be an astronaut by working on his back. He got to climb in a few rocket ships and we watched two movies on the 180 degree movie theatre.
February was a busy month. We had snow on Mt. Diablo a few times and I took the kids up to take a look. We got real muddy on a nice hike and bike ride. We had a few fires in the fireplace to warm us up at night. We also took the kids mini golfing, go carting and boating. It's nice to be able to do a multitude of activities in February!

I got the great opportunity to play Pebble Beach yesterday. The weather was outstanding, almost reaching 70 degrees. It couldn't have been a better day!
